2013 Topps Gypsy Queen pack break review

2013 Topps Gypsy Queen has been floating around the hobby for about a week now, and one thing we’ve noticed is collectors are somewhat lukewarm to this latest edition. There was plenty of anxiety over this year’s set after last year had plenty of collectors still scratching their heads to figure out why it was so confusing.  With short prints and photo variations, Gypsy Queen seemed to strike out with the fans who preached about it in 2011.

This year sees a lot of that confusion dismissed, but perhaps the damage has been done.  Secondary market sales have been tepid with plenty of autos and relics selling for less than five dollars, but design-wise it is still a solid set to collect.  The base cards are plentiful and it shouldn’t be too hard to complete, especially if sales continue to plummet.
