Major League Baseball’s Opening Day isn’t a national holiday yet, but it is definitely an opportunity to share the love of the game with your friends and family. The traditions vary, but one thing rings true; the memories made are definitely unforgettable.
Sports Card Magazine has teamed up with RookiesApp to give some lucky fans an opportunity to preserve those Opening Day moments in the form of trading cards, but to make it interesting we’re going to make you earn it!
Think scavenger hunt, but each picture will earn you an entry and the person with most entries will get a free pack of cards to preserve those opening day moments courtesy of RookiesApp . The contest will run through the end of the first week (March 31st-April 5th) and the winner will be announced within a week of the end date.
To enter- make sure you download the app and have it ready for your trip to the ball park! It’s currently available on iOS only, but Android users should be on the lookout, so you don’t need the app to enter- you can just send the pics and we can choose the best template for them.
Pictures needed:
A) in front of the ballpark
B) in your seats
C) at either foul line with the field in the background.
D) with the mascot (double entry !)
E) in the dugout (triple entry!)
F) with a foul ball (triple entry!)
G) random, most creative
