2014 Bowman Chrome Draft Top Prospects Rafael Devers #CTP37
2014 Bowman Draft Baseball is the first product to include Rafael Devers cards. Part of the Top Prospects portion of the product, the infielder is pictured in his full MLB gear. He has both Bowman Chrome and a regular Bowman card that are virtually identical except for the card stock. Neither is terribly valuable, although the chromium version is preferred by many. With his first autographs not arriving until 2015, the Refractor parallels represent the key chase aspect.

2015 Bowman Chrome Prospect Autographs Rafael Devers #BCAPRD
Typically today, a player’s first Bowman Chrome autograph isn’t their Rookie Card. However, many regard them as such in the way they covet and collect them. This isn’t Devers’ first card and he has several other autographs in 2015 products. However, it is his key card.
Inserted in packs of 2015 Bowman Baseball, it has an on-card autograph, full MLB marks and logos and the brand affinity that comes with a first Bowman Chrome autograph. The card doesn’t have quite as many Refractors as his 2014 Bowman Chrome Draft Top Prospects card, but there are still plenty of them, all serial numbered.

2015 Bowman’s Best Best of 2015 Autographs Rafael Devers #B15RD
Arriving late in the year, the 2015 Bowman’s Best Rafael Devers autograph is a viable alternative to his Bowman Chrome card. It’s not nearly as expensive yet it has many of the same features including the Red Sox uniform and on-card signature. But with Chrome so firmly entrenched as the go-to brand, it means that others lag behind in value. But that’s not necessarily a bad thing unless you’re looking to sell.

2015 Elite Extra Edition Prospect Autographs Rafael Devers #194
As far as baseball prospecting goes, Elite Extra Edition has the biggest history in Panini’s portfolio. For the 2015 set, Prospect Autographs were brightened up, giving them a fresh look but still with the traditional foil of the past. Although not serial-numbered, the base version of the Rafael Devers autograph appears to be somewhat tough to locate. He’s also featured on several numbered parallels, most of which are die-cut as well.
While this is his main signed card in 2015 Elite Extra Edition, Devers does have others in the product. Among them are a couple of tough dual autographs, one with Yoan Moncada and the other with Manuel Margot. They are rare, though, with only ten base versions and six total copies (five Gold, one Black) each. Devers is also included on the Hype Autographs checklist.

Panini brought its Silhouette concept to 2015 Elite Extra Edition. The Rafael Devers Futre Threads card is numbered to 125 and has a jersey swatch layered underneath his image. The card is topped off with an autograph. The lone parallel comes with a premium swatch.

This isn’t the only minor league card Devers had in 2015. He has others from Topps. However, this one takes the traditional approach of primarily local distribution and a likely limited print run. It came as part of a team set that also includes Yoan Moncada.

2015 Leaf 25th Rafael Devers Autographs
Subtract 25 from 2015 and you get 1990 — the year that 2015 Leaf 25th Baseball celebrates. Devers has a pair of autographed cards in the product, both of which are based on the popular 1990 design. They’re essentially the same card except for the card stock. The Clear version, which has a print run of 32 copies, is done on acetate, giving it a see-through background. Devers’ Metal autograph is done with chromium. It has 81 copies.

2015 Leaf Metal Draft Rafael Devers #BARD1
Leaf Metal Draft is to Leaf as Bowman Chrome is to Topps. Both are driven primarily by autograph cards done on chromium stock. 2015 Leaf Metal Draft takes a minimalist approach to design. This achieves a couple of things. First, it leaves plenty of space for the signature to stand out. Also, the backdrop of all versions have a reflective shine similar to Topps’ Refractors. So while there isn’t a lot visually, there’s enough to draw attention.
The base version of the Devers autograph is SSP according to Leaf. This means that it’s more rare than other short prints.

2015 Leaf Trinity Baseball delivers three styles of Rafael Devers autographs. It starts with the Trinity Signatures card. Most in the set come with inscriptions, but Devers has just an autograph. The Patch Autograph adds a large swatch from a player-worn jersey to the mix. Finally, there’s the Pure autograph, which is done on clear, thick plexiglass-like material.

2015 Panini Contenders Baseball brought with it one of the brand’s most distinct features–Ticket Autographs. Football and basketball use Rookie Ticket Autographs. Here, they’re similar Prospect Ticket Autographs. It’s a design feature that has been used in Contenders to great success over the years. It doesn’t have quite the history on the diamond, but there is good recognition with the brand overall.

2015 Topps Heritage Minor League Real One Autographs Rafael Devers #ROA135
2015 Topps Heritage Minor League uses the same old-school look and feel of the main MLB Heritage line. 1966 Topps Baseball is the basis for this card’s design. This is Devers’ first MiLB autograph card. That might not have the same impact as his MLB cards but it doesn’t have a huge supply. And many collectors are fine with an autograph no matter what the uniform shows.
