2018 Bowman Chrome National Convention Checklist, Topps Wrapper Redemption Details
Topps is one of several companies offering exclusive wrapper redemption sets at the 2018 National Sports Collectors Convention in Cleveland. Highlighting a mix of current players, rookies, prospects and legends, the 2018 Topps Bowman Chrome National Convention checklist packs a fair bit into its 50 cards.
Autographs are also randomly inserted.
Not surprising given the fact that the National takes place in Cleveland, the Indians are represented with the largest number of players on the checklist. They include current stars like Francisco Lindor and Jose Ramirez as well as such franchise greats as Jim Thome, Bob Feller and Roberto Alomar.
Among the other veterans and rookies on the 2018 Bowman Chrome National Convention checklist are Mike Trout, Shohei Ohtani, Ronald Acuña, Gleyber Torres and Aaron Judge. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. highlights the prospects.
Basic versions of the 2018 Bowman Chrome National Convention baseball cards have a Prism pattern background. This is similar to last year. Parallels include Gold (/50), Orange (/25), Red (/5) and Black (1/1).
Autographs all come numbered but to varying amounts. That said, even the most common are still rare with a maximum of 30 copies each.
2018 Topps National Convention Wrapper Redemption – How to Get Packs
To participate in the Topps wrapper redemption, you first have to buy a box from select dealers on the show floor. The seller will then give the collector a sticker along with the box.
Next, take the sealed box and sticker to the Topps booth where they’ll give you the special 2018 Topps Bowman Chrome National Convention pack with four cards.
So it’s actually more like a box redemption than the pack requirements of past years.
