2018 Topps Baseball Walmart Factory Set Chrome Rookie Variations Gallery

If you’re strolling through the card aisle at Walmart and you come across a 2018 Topps Baseball factory set, it might look a little different than the usual long box version. And should you find that special set, you’ve come across one that has an exclusive 2018 Topps Chrome Rookie Variation that isn’t available anywhere else.

Each of the Walmart sets has one of six variations, which are all done as Refractors.

It’s important to note that the numbering is based off of 2018 Topps Baseball and not the smaller 2018 Topps Chrome. However, if you’re browsing on eBay or elsewhere and you see these factory set variations, you might just see that there are variations and not think to the number. So here we are.

In addition to the alternate image, the factory set Chrome Rookie Variations have a tip off on the back (no looking at the code required, either). Under the card number, they note they’re from the complete set, or factory set.

Besides the basic Refractors, there are a handful of variation parallels randomly inserted:

• Gold Refractors (/50, 1:41 sets)
• Orange Refractors (/25, 1:81 sets)
• Red (/5, 1:391 sets)
• Superfractors (1/1, 1:1,951 sets)

Like all retail 2018 Topps Baseball factory sets, these ones still come with the set of five additional Rookie Variations. The images on those are different from the Chrome ones.
