2016 MLB Draft: A Baseball Card Perspective

If the past couple years of Bowman Draft Baseball are any indication, we should see MLB baseball cards of the majority of players taken in the first round of the draft by year’s end. However, for a lot of these youngsters, you can find cards already.
Thanks to the USA Baseball license and lines like Leaf Perfect Game, baseball card prospecting can start early. We’re at a point now where it’s not only years before players make their major league debut but years before they’re even drafted.
With that in mind, here’s a brief look at available cards for the 2016 MLB Draft first round picks.

Ridiculous that some of these guys has 100+ cards already
Wow, if I was not old enough to drive but had baseball cards of myself out there, I’d have a difficult time focusing on things other kids cared about – like school. How surreal that must be for these young men. Yet, I still collect them when they’re drafted by the Chicago Cubs.
