In case the nearly 30 different parallels weren’t enough, the 2023 Topps Chrome Platinum Anniversary Baseball Image Variations give collectors a chance to chase yet another card from some of the product’s top players.

The 25 SSPs change up both the photos on the front. However, none of the poses are overly dynamic or standout so it’s going to be something to think about when busting packs and going through stacks.

Several of the variation card numbers don’t match up with the player’s base card. For example, Corbin Carroll’s variation is #67 while his base card is #350. Michael Conforto is #67 in the base set.

Image Variations are some of the tougher pulls in 2023 Topps Chrome Platinum Anniversary Baseball. They land 1:348 hobby packs and 1:518 blaster packs.

These aren’t the only variations on the checklist. One hundred players have City Variations that put a photo in the background of their home cityscape. These aren’t in regular pack, though. Rather, they’re in special packs that land one per hobby case. They also have different numbering with cards carrying a “54CV-” prefix.
