The 2025-26 Upper Deck New York Rangers Centennial Box Set celebrates the franchise’s first 100 years on the NHL ice.
Founded on April 17, 1926, as the “New York Giants Professional Hockey Club” by Madison Square Garden president George “Tex” Rickard, the franchise was eventually named the Rangers after the New York Herald Tribune called the team “Tex’s Rangers.” New York has won four Stanley Cups, placing them in a three-way tie for the fourth-most in NHL history.
Upper Deck celebrates that heritage in advance of their 100th season (2026-27) with a special box set.
2025-26 Upper Deck New York Rangers Centennial Box Set Checklist Overview
The box set includes all 100 base cards, plus some extras.
Collectors should expect to find three Blue parallels and one Red parallel per box, as well as one Blueshirt Best insert, which commemorates 18 of the top players to wear New York’s famed blue uniform.
Select players from the base set also have hard-signed autograph cards, though they are tough finds. Autographs fall only twice per case (1:10 boxes) and replace one of the Blue parallels.
