The 2019-20 Panini Prizm Basketball Prizms rainbow is a big one. Besides the regular base version, all 300 cards on the checklist have 40 — yes, FORTY — additional Prizms parallels. These make for lots of colors, patterns and overall dazzle to an already shiny line.
While there’s no denying that 40 parallels is a lot, the majority of these are split between a variety of different pack types. Hobby boxes have the most with 13 different Prizms available in packs, most of which are exclusives. But when you get into the retail side, it’s more that there are several configurations and store exclusives. Within each of these are usually one or two spots on the rainbow not found elsewhere.
Choice and Fast Break are different types of hobby boxes that mix both patterns and colors. Choice cards, which are intended for international markets, have large circles in the background along with five different colors. Fast Break versions come in seven varieties, all with small circles.
These exclusive add up and when all is said, player collectors are looking at dozens of versions.
Popular Silver Prizms are the only ones widely available in most pack types.

Retail are packs found at stores like Walmart and Target. Hobby are geared for card shops.
