2025 Upper Deck National Hockey Card Day Checklist and Details
2025 Upper Deck National Hockey Card Day sees the hobby shop promotion return for a 16th year. The concept is easy. Head to a participating card store on April 5 and get a free pack of cards.
The promo set breaks down into three main sections: Hockey Superstars, Prominent Rookies and Legends on Ice. The basic set has 30 cards plus a checklist. There’s also a special Macklin Celebrini card available with a qualifying purchase that adds another card to the main set.
A couple of insert sets return. Victory Black Rookies offers another shot at top first-year players while Mascots give the NHL’s most famous cheerleaders some love.
Rare autographs are also randomly included in packs in the form of Player Autographs and additional Signature Series cards.
While 2025 Upper Deck NHCD packs are free, there is a bonus Rookie Moments bonus card that’s available for those making a $10 purchase.
All participating 2025 National Hockey Card Day shops are part of the card maker’s Certified Diamond Dealers network.
