2023 Bowman Platinum Baseball Variations Guide
The 2023 Bowman Platinum Baseball variations checklist is a mix of rookies and prospects — but mostly rookies.
Like most SSPs, these are rooted in image swaps. When you look at a variation, it’d be fair to assume they’re a regular base card. It’s especially true given the heavy design elements that make for minimal player photos and not a lot of variety besides standard batting and fielding poses.
Variations in 2023 Bowman Platinum are also tough pulls, so they might slip your mind. They’re 1:1,370 monster box packs and 1:1,531 for blasters.
2023 Bowman Platinum Baseball Variations Codes
Perhaps the easiest way to confirm whether you have an SSP is using the codes on the back. To do this, go to the fine print. At the bottom next to the Topps website URL is a CMP code. The endings on these change based on the type of card that it is. Because base cards and Top Prospects have different codes, there are three to know here:
- Base – 046
- Top Prospects – 061
- Variations – 097

The codes for the base variations and two Top Prospects are all the same.
