2023 Topps Hobby Rip Night Baseball Checklist and Details
2023 Topps Hobby Rip Night Baseball is a promo set available in select card shops. The set was designed in conjunction with a country-wide promotion put on by Fanatics that saw stores host special events where those in attendance got packs.
It’s not a complex set. Just 20 cards make up the checklist. It’s a mix of current superstars like Shohei Ohtani and Julio Rodriguez, rookies and even a couple of legends. Red parallels are available as well.
Collectors can also find autographs. If there are any other than Spencer Steer or Joey Wiemer, they appear to be especially tough as those were the only two to surface online in the immediate wake of the event.
More than 300 shops across 40 states participated in Hobby Rip Night. This included 1995 Montreal Expos draft pick Tom Brady, Jalen Rose and Fanatic CEO popping into the MLB Flagship Store in New York.
Brady and Rubin then went to Wax, Packs and Throwbacks in Linwood, New Jersey where they were joined by Travis Scott and Kevin Hart.

Other athlete and celebrity appearances in stores included Corbin Carroll, Evan Longoria and Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics.
