Topps Now Tribute to John Cena Includes Autographs, SSPs
One of the most prominent WWE wrestlers of all-time ended his career during a WrestleMania Main Event from Washington D.C. on December 13.
Now, Topps has given collectors a chance to remember John Cena’s retirement night in many different forms through a Topps Now card that includes autographs, memorabilia relics, and short-printed variations to chase.

On Tuesday, Topps announced Cena would grace Card #137 in the 2025 Topps Now WWE set, but collectors will be hoping to find more than just base cards once their orders arrive.
Any collector who orders at least one of the open-ended base card from Topps — which will print exactly how many cards were ordered — will have the chance to find parallels, image variations, autographed relic cards, or a triple autograph as part of their order.
The main base card showcase’s Cena’s farewell to the WWE, a journey that began on the main roster in 2002 and ended with a tap out to Gunther that has left fans with split opinions. On the card, Cena, a 17-time champion, is pictured between Cory Rhodes and CM Punk, and one lucky collector will receive a Triple Autograph signed by all three wrestlers.

Parallels to the base card include:
- Gold Foil (/50)
- Orange Foil (/25)
- Black Foil (/10)
- Red Foil (/5)
- FoilFractor (1/1)
If at least 50,000 copies of the base card are ordered, Topps will also print Chrome parallels of the card.
There are two image variations of Cena’s card — one a short print and the other a super-short print.
The SP depicts him under a spotlight on the way to the ring for his final match.

The SSP features an image of Cena’s shoes left in the ring, a symbolic gesture performed by many wrestlers at all levels following their final match.

Topps has also acquired some of the mat used during the WrestleMania event and will put slices of it into autographed relic cards that collectors may find as redemptions with their order. These cards have /10, /5, and 1/1 versions.

Collectors can purchase Cena’s Topps Now cards directly from Topps until December 19, though many dealers take advantage of bulk purchasing discounts and already have pre-sales of base cards active on eBay.
